Where old and new become one. Carefully crafted hand hewn beams and period hardware appoint an age gone by, blending with every modern convenience. The Blue Heron Barn is a quiet retreat less than an hours drive from most cities and towns of eastern and central Pennsylvania.
Located next to a large forest the barn is a great place to start a refreshing hike or just relax on the deck and enjoy the surrounding nature.
The great room with an open, vaulted design features a large fireplace. The fireplace is a thermostatically controlled gas/wood stove that will keep you warm on crisp nights.
Windows and sitting areas are all around. The bright open loft above reveals a comfy queen size bed.
The Carriage House entrance greets you with a large cedar deck and offers great views of the woods.
The kitchen is well equipped and functional. It is great for entertaining as well as preparing dinner for two.
Please take the time to enjoy the Blue Heron Pond. Located at the entrance to the Barn, the pond is a great place to sit down and unwind (but please no fishing or swimming).
